Here's a scarce early 3 part mold blown Cusenier Absinthe bottle that we dug from an 1880s outhouse privy pit.....
CUSENIER
(bold emb on front shoulder)... Circle with opening at top emb on back shoulder....Hand blown in 3 pc mold, bimal....smooth base...crude drippy string applied tapered lip....olive green....round with bulged neck.....9 3/4"tall.....Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A bit of light inside haze, but not bad.  You can look up CUSENIER online and find pictures of this exact unique shaped Cusenier bottle with label which states it contained Absinthe Oxygenee....a powerful high alcohol bitters type liquor which contained wormwood. Cusenier Absinthe was made in France and more expensive than Pernod Absinthe. This bottle is empty and has no label.
