    Description

Up for auction is this very early antique decanter/bottle. There is not much I can say,
to add to the pictures.  It is just beautiful, from the etching of a three mast ship/boat
to the uneven shoulder height, the applied neck, and  the many bubbles in this old glass.
There is some shelf wear on the bottom as to be expected. The stopper seems right
for this bottle, but I cannot be certain that ii is the original.  The bottle is in excellent
condition, no chip,.cracks or  flea bites. The stopper has some chips on the bottom.
as can be seen in the third picture.
Both the neck and the stopper are ground and so is the pontil.
Dimensions: approx. 10" with stopper, 7" top of the neck, 3"  X  2-1/3"
one shoulder is approx 5" and the other 5-1/2"
the stopper is 2-1/2" long, weight is 1 Pd. 2.3 Oz
I have owned and this bottle  for many years, but its is time to let go and let someone
    else enjoy it.
