*Up for sale here is a very handsome looking western saloon style of back bar bottle from the town of Clermont, Kentucky. Located in Bullitt County, Ky. This paneled example is near mint, and has seen no wear. There is a bit on the base from use. All of the attractive white enameling on the bottle is excellent, as seen here. The old clear glass is sparkling clean, and will sun purple over time, if left exposed. This hand blown example would date from the 1890's era.
*The "Old Grand Dad" is a brand of bourbon whiskey distilled at the Jim beam plant in Clermont, Ky. This very well known particular brand was created by Raymond B. Hayden, and named after his Grandfather, Meredith Basil Hayden Senior.
*It is nicely enameled on the bottle, as it boldly reads ~ "OLD / GRAND DAD / WHISKEY". Nice with the the well defined panels on the bottle. This quart pre pro whiskey bottle measures 11 3/4 inches tall, and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. You will be very well pleased with such a nice example as this one. What a wonderful piece of old time Kentucky adverting whiskey distillery history.
