A real nice looking antique pottery Roderick Dhu Old Highland Whisky jug over 110 years old....

in bold black underglaze print on front of jug....Wonderful flowers and vines in bold black underglaze print around the entire jug....

pottery maker's mark stamped into the pottery on bottom.....Thick heavy stoneware jug with applied handle....crimped pour spout on the hollowed out rim....cream color with yellow dipped shoulder....8"tall....Good condition with only a 1"hairline crack on neck just to the left of spout; a natural chip on very bottom surface from when the jug was made; no other damage. A nice clean jug from the 1890s...After 50 years of digging and collecting we have decided to part with many of our bottles (to make room for more..haha)...so keep watching our listings as many rare treasures are being found!
