This is an original Mexican theatrical movie poster for “Zona Roja,” a 1976 Mexican romantic melodrama directed by Emilio Fernandez and starring Fanny Cano, Armando Silvestre and Victor Junco. Poster art is by Rafael Lopez Castro.
This poster is linenbacked and restored. Poster was in
fair to good
condition prior to linenbacking.
*Be aware there are numerous signs of restoration.
Please only buy if you are okay with the noticeable "defects" (read below and inspect detail photos as well). This poster should still display nicely, especially behind glass.
Previously folded. Extra fold lines (vertical and horizontal). Poster had fold splits; color restoration was done to hide white lines along folds. Top left corner paper loss (vintage paper was patched in and painted red to match); other small areas of paper loss colored in. Stains and smudging still visible in white sections of poster, including along folds. Black marker bleed through reading ‘Zona Roja’ at right was minimized with paint but is still visible, especially in certain lights.
Poster will ship rolled in a heavy-duty tube via USPS Priority Mail.
